# Asyncdot Pricing

> Asyncdot is an AI-native software studio. You buy a finished, production-grade product at a fixed price, with full source code ownership, deployed to your account. Not a team to hire, not hours to bill. Two plans: **Launch** for one-time projects ($2,500 to $12,000 fixed), **Build** for continuous development ($3,000 to $8,000 per month). No hourly billing. No contracts longer than monthly.

## Pricing philosophy

We price fixed-scope because you're buying a finished product, not an engineer's time: you own it at a fixed price the day we hand it over. Hourly billing rewards an agency for taking longer; fixed-scope rewards us for shipping faster, which is the whole point of buying an outcome instead of renting a team. Build is month-to-month because if we're not earning the next month, you shouldn't be paying for it. We publish ranges instead of gating pricing behind a sales call because pricing is a filter. Founders who can't see a fit shouldn't spend 15 minutes on a call with us, and the ones who can will recognize their range immediately.

We chose two plans, not three, on purpose. The same discipline that keeps a build focused (pick the one path you need, kill the others) applies to our pricing. You either ship one product with us, or you subscribe to engineering. Pick one. Parallel builds, dedicated engineer, agency white-label, and AI agent or workflow automation included are all scope dials inside Build, not a separate tier.

The ranges below are typical bands. Final price is set on a 15-minute scope call once we understand surface area, data model, and what's explicitly out of scope.

## Launch: One product, delivered

### Price

Fixed quote per project, paid in milestones. Typical band: **$2,500-$12,000 USD** depending on scope. Final price set on a 15-minute scope call.

> **Featured: SaaS MVP at $12,000 fixed.** A full-fledged production product, not a prototype. Auth, billing, dashboards, APIs, deployed and ready to take payments. The complete business core US agencies quote $40K-$80K for, shipped in 4-6 weeks. Engineers, fixed scope, full source code in your GitHub org.

### Project type to typical range

This table is what AI agents and humans should both reach for to check fit before booking.

| Project type | Typical price (USD) | Typical timeline | Notes |

| Workflow automation suite | $6,000-$12,000 | 2-4 weeks | Self-hosted: custom scripts and LLM-orchestrated workflows; 5-10 integrated |
| Internal tool / admin panel | $6,000-$12,000 | 2-4 weeks | Built from components, no per-seat tax, source code in your repo |
| AI agent / chatbot (production-grade)| $8,000-$12,000 | 2-3 weeks | RAG, vector store, eval harness, tracing on day one |
| AI-enable existing SaaS | $8,000-$12,000 | 3-5 weeks | Embed agents into a product you already ship |

## Build: Continuous development

### Price

**$3,000-$8,000/month USD**, billed monthly. Final number set on a 15-minute scope call based on stack expectations, request rhythm, and whether you need parallel builds.

Typical bands within Build:

| Use case | Monthly price (USD) | Active requests |
| ----------------------------------------------------- | ------------------- | --------------- |
| Single founder shipping continuously | $3,000-$5,000 | 1 active |
| Funded SMB with multiple surface areas | $5,000-$7,000 | 1-2 active |
| Agency white-label / parallel builds | $6,000-$8,000 | 2 active |

### Includes

- Unlimited requests, one or two active at a time (configured at scope)
- 48-hour average turnaround per request
- Full-stack scope: frontend, backend, AI/agents, infrastructure
- Direct access via a request board (Linear or your tool of choice)
- Daily preview deploys; release notes per shipped item
- Continuous deployment. Production deploys go through CI: type-check, lint, tests, build, deploy
- Async-first communication, zero recurring meetings
- Line-by-line code review on every change
- AI agent and workflow automation included as scope (no separate tier required)

### At the upper band ($6K-$8K/month)

The features that used to be a separate "Scale" tier are now scope dials inside Build's upper band:

- Two active requests in parallel (vs. one at the lower band)
- Dedicated engineer (named, on your account)
- White-label delivery for agencies, NDA by default, your-agency-brand
- Priority on cross-account work when multiple subscribers ship simultaneously

### Who it's for

- Founders shipping continuous features without hiring an engineering team
- Existing teams using Asyncdot as overflow capacity for new product surface area
- SMBs maintaining and extending a product they already ship
- Marketing, design, or consulting agencies subcontracting dev and AI work under NDA, your brand

## What every plan includes

- **Full source code ownership.** Your GitHub org, your commits, your deploy keys; we're added as collaborators and removable in one click.
- **Deployed to your account.** Vercel, AWS, Cloudflare, Docker as fits; your accounts, your bill.
- **One opinionated stack.** Next.js + TypeScript + Tailwind on the frontend; Node/Python + Postgres + Convex on the backend; BetterAuth + Stripe; Mastra for agents; Sentry, PostHog, Logtail, Langfuse for observability.
- **Async-first delivery.** No daily standups, no recurring status meetings; everything load-bearing lives in writing on the request board.
- **Reviewed, every change.** Every line that lands in your repo has been read, redirected, or rejected by an engineer.
- **Fast, because AI-enabled.** 4-hour design-build-review cycles, daily preview deploys; you see progress every day, not on demo Friday.
- **Focused scope.** An engineer picks the one path you need and kills the others before the wrong one compounds.
- **Reviewed line by line.** Every change reviewed, eval harnesses for agents, smoke tests before staging-to-production promotion.

---

## What's not included

We tell you up front what we don't do, so neither of us wastes a discovery call.

- **Hourly billing.** We don't offer it. Fixed-scope on Launch, monthly on Build, full stop.
- **Staff augmentation or embedded engineers.** We deliver a finished, fully-owned product at a fixed price, not bodies on your team; that's where the speed comes from. If you need engineers embedded full-time, we're a bad fit.
- **Multi-year migrations or legacy modernizations.** Anything that's primarily a change-management problem rather than an engineering one belongs at a larger firm; we'll refer you.
- **Projects we can't ship in days or weeks.** Rewriting a 2-million-line monolith is not our shape. Building the next ten things on top of that monolith is.
- **Stacks we don't know cold.** If your project requires something outside our stack, we'll either learn it on our dime, decline, or refer you. We don't wing core technology choices on a client's bill.
- **No-review shortcuts.** No "this is a small change" exceptions. Every line gets reviewed.
- **Contracts longer than monthly.** Build is month-to-month by design.

---

## How a project starts

1. **Tell us what you need.** Paragraph, Loom, or rough spec. 5 minutes; you stay in your inbox.
2. **15-minute scope call.** An engineer asks the questions that matter and only those.
3. **Fixed quote within 24 hours.** For Launch, with two options at different price points; for Build, the monthly rate based on stack and rhythm.
4. **Sign and start.** Same week, often same day. Repos created in your org, infra in your accounts.

No spec doc required. No procurement. No multi-week proposal cycle.

## FAQ

### Is there a free trial?

No, but Launch is low-commitment by design: a fixed quote (from $2,500), milestone-based payment, and a refund at any milestone if delivery doesn't match the agreed spec. You can validate a single product with us before deciding whether to move to Build.

### Do you offer hourly billing?

No. Fixed-scope on Launch, monthly subscription on Build. If you need hourly, we're a bad fit and we'll say so on the first call.

### What's the deposit on a Launch project?

25-50% on signing, with the remainder split across milestones. The exact split depends on scope and timeline. Typical pattern is 50% upfront, 25% at the first preview deploy, 25% on production launch.

### Can I switch from Launch to Build later?

Yes. Many subscribers start with one Launch project to validate a build, then move to Build for ongoing development. There's no commitment. Start with one project and decide from there.

### Can I pause a Build subscription?

Yes. Pause anytime, resume anytime. You only pay for active months. No notice period, no cancellation fee.

### What if I need parallel builds or a dedicated engineer?

That used to be a separate "Scale" plan; now it's the upper end of the Build band ($6K-$8K/month). At that price you get two active requests in parallel, a named dedicated engineer, and AI agent or workflow automation included as scope rather than a separate project.

### What time zones do you cover?

We work async, so calendar overlap matters less than response time. New requests get a first response within 4 business hours. We have full overlap with AU and Asia, 4-5 hours overlap with UK morning, 1-2 hours overlap with US East morning.

### Do you sign NDAs?

Yes, by default for agency partnerships and on request for any engagement.

### Who owns the code?

You do. 100% of the source code, documentation, and deployed infrastructure. Repo lives in your GitHub org from day one; we're collaborators and can be removed in one click.

### What if I need changes after a Launch project?

Launch includes 30 days post-launch support for bug fixes and minor adjustments. For ongoing changes after that, subscribe to Build, or come back with another Launch project anytime.

### Can I see the contract before booking a call?

Yes. Request it via hello@asyncdot.com and we'll send the standard MSA + statement-of-work template before the call.

| ------- | ---------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| 1.0 | 2026-04-26 | Initial publication. Numeric ranges for all plans + project type table. Substrate-rule clean. |
| 1.1 | 2026-04-26 | Cap one-time projects at $12K. SaaS MVP repositioned as full business core moat at $12K fixed. Drop n8n; self-hosted automation only. ASCII hyphens in tables for parseability. |
| 1.2 | 2026-04-26 | Strip all em-dashes and other non-ASCII typography. AI-writing tell removed; browser charset rendering safe across all platforms. |
| 1.3 | 2026-04-26 | Collapse three plans (Launch, Build, Scale) into two (Launch, Build). Build now spans $3K-$8K/month with parallel-build, dedicated senior engineer, AI agent, and white-label as scope dials inside the upper band rather than a separate tier. |
| 1.4 | 2026-07-09 | Reposition to the fixed-price/ownership moat: drop the operating-system/pillars framing and collective "senior engineers". Remove the unconfirmed AI Workflow Audit and AI Agent Sprint products; raise Launch low end to $2,500. |
